How do I know that God cared for me?
Does God care? Usually that is a question people ask when they are faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles and calamities.
When we feel lost and lonely, who feels with us? Who sees our few, fleeting moments? Who cares about our troubles?
Why does this happen? In Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV) it says, "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." Life happens; the good and the bad.
In the grand scale of time and space we seem utterly insignificant. There's a lot of biblical verses wherein man recognizes the vulnerability of his entire being and the importance of the Creator in our lives.
In Psalms 8:3 - 4 (KJV) - "When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? ".
How incredible - that because of His love for us, he has sent his only Son to be crucified on the cross for our sins. What a great sacrifice and how great this love can be that the Lord has for all of us.

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood up and proclaimed, "Let anyone who is thirsty, come to me; and let the one who believes in me drink, for the scripture says: Out of him shall flow rivers of living water".
(John 7:37-38)
